This fun dough is just as much fun to make as it is to mold and then...eat! Your child can mix these ingredients up with their hands (that's right- let them play with their food) and then mold their favorite shapes and enjoy a yummy snack afterward!
Ingredients:
2 cups peanut butter (smooth works best)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup flour
1 tablespoon honey
Directions:
Mix peanut butter with powdered sugar, flour, and honey. Knead with hands. If the dough is too sticky, add more flour until the dough is easy to work with. If the dough is too tough, add more peanut butter until it reaches the right consistency. (Sometimes, you have to play with the ratio of ingredients depending on the temperature and type of ingredients.)
*Note- You may also replace the flour with unsweetened baking cocoa to make a yummy chocolate peanut butter dough!
You can let your child mix and knead the ingredients and let them play with the dough afterwards, or you can let them make it and store in a ziploc bag or airtight container for later. It's fun and delicious!
