Ice Cream Bread
2 Cups (one pint) melted ice cream flavor of choice
*** Do not use chocolate ice cream that does not taste good but all other flavors we have tried do
1 1/4 Cups self rising flour.
Mix well. Pour into a buttered/oiled pan.
Bake at 350* for 40 minutes.
Brush bread with a layer of butter/oil.
Cover with a towel until cool.
When cool, slice and serve.
This is great with homemade cinnamon butter, recipe below.
Home made cinnamon butter
Put 1/2 cup cream/ half and half in a tight closing container. I use a bowl/ with a screw on lid.
Add in 1 teaspoon cinnamon sugar.
Add 1/8 teaspoon of salt.
Add two sterilized marbles (one does not work as well).
Put the lid on.
Shake until you do not hear the marbles.
(do not keep shaking past that point)
***Important: take out the marbles!
Use the butter to butter the ice cream bread.
