Pear Pops
These creamy homemade pear pops are refreshing frozen treats made with fresh pears and milk. They are easy for kids to help make and are perfect for summer snacks, healthy desserts, and hot afternoons.
Ingredients
- 2 fresh pears
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
Supplies Needed
- Blender
- Paper cups or popsicle molds
- Popsicle sticks
Directions
Wash and peel the pears if desired, then cut them into chunks. Add the pears, milk, and sugar to a blender. Blend until completely smooth.
Pour the mixture evenly into paper cups or popsicle molds. Place the cups into the freezer until the top layer begins to freeze slightly, about 20 to 30 minutes.
Insert a popsicle stick into the center of each cup, pushing it down toward the bottom. Return the pops to the freezer and freeze for at least 2 more hours or until completely firm.
To serve, peel away the paper cups or remove from molds and enjoy frozen.
Yield: About 4 to 6 pops depending on cup size.
