Create a 9 inch round single layer cake and a butter cream frosting.
I first applied buttercream frosting on entire cake, making sure that the cake is covered properly. To draw a sunflower on the top of the cake, I used a skewer as my pencil for drawing, but I practiced it before on parchment paper.
In separate two bowls of butter cream frosting, mix yellow color into frosting for sunflower petals and green for the shell border like in the bottom of the cake.
Add yellow icing to a piping bag with star tip #25, then pipe all the petals of the sunflower. For the center of the flower I put chocolate chips for the seeds. For the bottom of the cake I used star tip #27 and pipe it all around.
